Moneger is a shop ledger: it records sales, purchases, debts, stock and expenses from plain written messages. It is built and operated by Moneger.
All your records (names of people and their phone numbers if you enter them, amounts, items, notes) are stored on your phone first. On Android, the system’s automatic backup may keep a copy in your own Google Drive.
To sync between phones and protect against losing a phone, your records, the shop name, owner and staff names, their roles and your sign-in identifier (Google or Apple, if used) are stored on the Moneger server at Railway (cloud hosting). PINs and device tokens are stored hashed. Only members of the same shop can see this data.
Only with your consent: the text of your message and a summary of your ledger (people and item names, balances) are sent to the Moneger server (Cloudflare) and from there to DeepSeek, the AI provider, which may process them outside Iraq (including in China). We do not store message text on our servers, only usage counts (for the daily limit and cost). You can turn the AI off at any time in Settings.
To fix problems, the app sends error and event counts (never ledger content), the app version, phone type, IP address and the shop identifier (if you have an account).
No ads. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising or tracking. Notifications are created on the phone itself.
There is no in-app payment at present. If you buy a subscription, only your shop code and subscription period are stored.
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Or without the app: Delete your Moneger account. If you are the shop’s only member, the shop and all its records are deleted from the server; if other members remain, your name is removed and the shop’s ledger stays with them. Data on your phone is removed when you delete the app.
Moneger is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.
